Ohariu Valley Equestrian Centre (OVEC) was established in 1963 and was formally called the Country Club Riding Academy.  We are a family owned and operated business.  The horse trekking trails and equestrian store are located on our 850 acre sheep and cattle farm.  We also own and graze over 100 horses on the property.

With Wellington's newest wind farm on our and neighbouring properties, as well as land right out to the Cook Strait, it's a pretty stunning place to visit.
