Escape the city and enjoy an adventure on horse back.  Trek across 850 acres of beautiful farmland, through native bush, streams and pine forests.  Enjoy views of Wellington's wind farm.

Guided by our friendly, experienced staff, we have a selection of excellent trekking horses to suit all levels of experience. 

 

Horse treks operate 6 days a week (Tuesday - Sunday weather and bookings permitting), all year round, and vary in duration from 1 to 2 hours. Please note that our 2 hour treks are only available during the weekdays, not weekends.

 

Bookings are essential and riders must arrive 30 minutes prior to departure.  All horse treks and pony hires require a 50% deposit to secure the booking.

 

For the health and wellbeing of our horses we have a rider weight limit of 85kg/209 pounds.
